the dc2r (type r) one is basically a short shifter and feels nicer (more firm and precise)
also involving less throw from gear to gear...

Thanx, but I better clarify......
What I ment was a physical difference b/n the gear sticks only.
Would the VTiR gear stick fit the DC2R housing?
Thinking of modifying (shortening) the VTiR gear stick and use it in my DC2R.

the gear sticks are exactly the same, my mate works at honda and he confirmed it when i was inquiring wheather to get a new stock one or an after market throw shifter, as my original one was threaded, so i got a buddy club throw shifter, and it is closer shift by almost half, i own a dc2r
