there would be a problem, as ozhonda has alot of members, and it would just have stacks of rubbish selling from place to place.. Not only that, people may begin selling "stolen" material, or things that are not theirs.

It's not so much that but the fact that this is a Honda based forum and is not a place where people come to sell whatever they have in their garage. There are websites such as ebay and trading post for stuff like that.

There could be a limit to what exactly you can sell. Obviously useful stuff such as TV's, Screens, Camera's, PS2's or watever. The ClubRSX one works pretty well, don't see why OH's wouldnt work just as well.

anyways i think its a good idea.. for those who want to sell stolen goods on here.. they should pick a better profession than a thief! for those who just want sumwhere to get rid of their non car related material and want to hand them down to fellow members.. why not have a thread for non car related items for sale...???

Guys, this has been discussed at great length, going way back to when we first introduced the FS section, before that thread above that Win linked was even started. There was never a chance this was going to go ahead because as i stated above, this is a Honda based forum and is all about having a centralised information source on Honda cars (tech articles etc etc), not a forum full of unrelated goods for sale. We are not an online classified forum for everyone to signup on and sell stuff and not contribute to this site in anyway.

I agree with the mods. There would be too much hassle with users selling goods unrelated to hondas, too many users filling up the database and that point of stolen goods being sold could lead to legal issues and other sorts of dramas. I like the FS section as it is, nice and simple!

While I'm a newbie (on OzHonda) and I'm going to get flamed for these comments, I've just picked up that you guy's (moderators and even longtime members) tend to be very quick to jump on people for incorrect post's. That is wholey your perogative and that's why your here but lighten up a bit.

I'm a member of many car related forums and have not come here to cause problems (that's why it was said in jest) but have you guy's ever thought about the fact that you can't have a discussion or argument by yourself. What I mean is if someone say's or does something wrong then you may be better of letting things lie then to come back with a comment that people want to reply to (such as me replying to this one.)

Anyway I meant no harm, you guy's have a thankless job.
