OK the drivers side window in my da9 teg has bit the dust. Ive checked all fuses and the switch connections and i hardwired the motor up and it didnt do anything so im assuming that its cactus.

How hard is it to replace the power window motor? and has anyone done it in their da9 teg???

Where can i get a new motor? should i just go and get one from a wreckers yard?

thanks in advance guys

If it is anything like in a civic it is reasonably easy to do.

Disclaimer: Attempt this at your own risk. I take no responsibility for any mistakes and/or damage etc that takes place while attempting this.

First thing you will need to do is remove the door trim. Then you can undo the two screws that hold the window in. While doing this have someone else hold the window so not to drop it. Then unbolt/screw the remaining screws/bolts and remove the window regulator. The motor itself is connected to the window regulator care of a few screws. Remove them and the motor is free. Get a new motor from the wreckers and reverse the process.

Alternatively, get a motor from the wreckers and go to a local honda dealership and let them do it for you.

Im not sure how to do it, but i suggest searching on team-integra.net, and g2ic.com as they will more than likely have something to help you, even if it is for a dc2, it may give you a good idea of what to do... good luck
