6x9's to fit ek 99

would it be possible to replace my 6x6.5 rear spkrs. for 6x9's
my car is 99 sedan

i think they are 6x9 in the ek sedan.
i got a 96 ek 1 sedan and the speakers on the parcel shelf are 6x9
maybe the facelifted ek has different speakers to mine.

to tell u the truth i have never heard of 6x6.5 size speakers.

Yes, the 6x9 is the stock fit for the EK sedans.

Yeah i tihnk 99 is same as 96. 96 had 6x9s stock (15w hahahahah) and theyre not much trouble to fit.

instead of invest your money for your rear speaker, is better invest the money in your front, buy some good front component speakers :)

This is true, though you can always do what i did. I bought my back speakers first, then a sub. Then later i bought my components and i love them just as much as my sub. I appreciate them so much more than i would otherwise. They make such a good sound. So yeah go for 6x9s if u want sum decent cheap bass and wanna impress ur mates. Or go the fronts to enjoy the music urself.

The last time i checked it was 2 yrs ago, it looked smaller than 6x9s.

Did you have a look from above or below your speakers? When I looked at mine from below they looked smaller than 6x9s, but they turned out to be 6x9s.

The speakers are 6x9's, for the hatch and sedans.
