Hey guys, I've been looking for an 94-97 Accord VTIS but in a manual version, do they come like this cause I'm having hard trouble finding a manual version, I want the leather interiour and all options, but I want a manual. looking to sell my teg soon as my job will be changing from PA to sales consultant and I will need to drive families around and stuff. God this is hard to find, A charcoal 95 Accord VTI-S (prefereably with beige leather but Grey is fine) in a manual under 150kms.

The Vti-s do come in manual as my brother has one, you just need to be patient as being a luxury car the majority of cars bought are auto. In the CD5 i havent seen beige interior so you maybe confused with the late 97- 98+ model, which is the new shape?

ok, cool so it is possible, Grey leather is fine, is the leather the only difference between a VTI & a VTI-S?

on late 93 and up to august 94 the differences between the vti and vti-s CD5 series 1 were not only leather but abs brakes, drivers air bag and illuminated vanity mirror. After august 94 the differences were climate control, leather, abs brakes( option on vti i think) , illuminated vanity mirror. Not sure when or if the 5th gen ever came with a passenger side airbag- someone will soon tell me no doubt. lol. I think series 2 5th gen came out in late 95 early 96 but i personally prefer the look of the series 1 5th gen.

The facelift 5th gen vtis should have a passenger airbag. I've seen them with them in NZ. Not sure about the lesser models though.

The facelift SiR also has a passenger airbag.

Meh - just extra weight to cart around!:p

I just visited carpoint on ninemsn.com.au.I looked up accords and I must say your used accords are around $2000 more expensive than NZ on average.

Which is good and bad. Resale values dropped heaps with all the imports which is bad, but cars are ALOT cheaper than 10 years ago which is good.

hmmm, Ok ok, damn this car is gonna be hard to find, If its not much trouble or if anyone knows a website where I could check, Is ther any pics that someone could show me between the changes from a 93 to 97 Accord, cause on carsales etc, they all kinda look the smae from their crappy photos, I kinda want the works, Leather ABS, airbags, Sunroof, Climate controll but I was thinking along the lines of down the track, 1 year or so, picking up a H22a and doing an engine swap, I have never looked at an accord before and want to find out as much as I can before purchasing. Thanks for ur replies guys, thanks for the help :D

yeah, I don't mind the colour, green looks good with gold rims too hehehe, Ah well, I still got to find out if I have lost my license or not (6 months) then I got to Sell the tegra, once thats done, here comes my accord, really looking foward to it as I need a 4 door for work, how much can you pick up a H22a engine these days for em?? and is the standard 2.2 Vtec any good in them to begin with, from the looks of the valve cover they look like a SOHC??? and the tacho seams to not rev out that much for a vtec, just trying to get a feel as i have never driven one before. Anybody got any good pages they can direct me to for some research so I can stop bothering & asking Q's LOL. Thanks

It takes some times mate, to look for a manual VTi. It took my couple of months to find one in good condition.

Besides, I think your milage requirement is a little tight. In average, they are 220,000km on the clock.

Good luck.
