Engine Swap

Iv tried searchin for this topic but got no hits.

Anyway, to the topic. My F20A engine mite b packing up shortly due to leaks. Im looking to do an engine swap and was wondering if any f series engine and gearbox wil fit into my car?? I was told f20b of an accord sir-t would do the job.

By the way its identical to the accord as seen in BTCC in 92 to bout 96. So the chassis is a cb3. My other option is a h22a but i was told the h22a gearbox is too long to fit in. Suggestions would be great. Thanx :)

So you have a 92 Accord? You can put a h22a into it. I have one in mine however, I think it is using a f series gearbox (missing the code). But you can put the whole thing in. Great site for cb accords here (http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/). Lots of people with h22a conversions there. Aswell as a variety of other hybrids. Good swap forum section with faqs etc...

Thanx for the tip eclipsor. I'll check it out. Spoon, yes i'd like a cf4 accord but since i hav a uni loan i cant have one. :(

go the h22a mate, you wont look back. Its an easy conversion in your accord.
