try resetting your ecu...

just take out negative terminal of battery for 5 min, and replace and idle your car for 10 min without touching a thing...

this may make a diff...

um whats the question ??

your car idles to high ?
your pedal is broke and its always reving at 8000rpm ?
revs are homosexual in nature ?
your revs are always staying up ? im sure you foot has something to do with this one

if your car is idleing at 2.5 and going up and down i suggest you take it to a mechanic throttle cable o2 sensor ecu could be many things and your descition doesnt give us to much to go on

good luck

So when you drive around it drives fine........Just idles really high?

Does the idle vary/jump around? If so like I said......most likely the Fast Idle Thermo Valve or IACV (do a quick search)

1. Check for vacume hose leaks.
2. Replace the Fast Idle Valve
3. Replace the EACV
4. Pray it isn't your Throttle Position Sensor (it was that and the EACV on my SiR). If so, don't try and adjust it - get a new Throttle body with a factory sealed TPS.
5a. Drive it off a cliff and claim insurance as it's the only way you might get your money back on all of the above

or

5b. Take it to a mechanic where they can check all of the above :)
