Why are you changing to higher kelvin rated bulbs when they are only designed for use during fog?
the yellow colour of the fog bulbs is that colour because it is the most effective to actually cut through the fog so you can see better. The angle also helps however they will be just as useless as your head lights in fog now!

So what gives? unless your driving around with them on during fog free periods which is illiegal

maybe its not illegal in perth pup.....i mean, over in perth its legal to have underglows but i know its illegal to have em here in NSW.....but i dont know.....correct me if im wrong anyone
and yeah, 3000K or lower fog kelvin ratings are better for fogs, but i think timbo was just going for the look and bling factor rather than tryin to see better in the fog (i had foggies on mine and i only ever used them once. I still have em on my old front bar)

Stephen hit the nail right on the head.

I drive my car rarely as it is, fog round here is all but non exsistant, and at the end of the day bling (rice) is good for me. They look nicer in the white than the yellow too.

I only use my fogs (without main beams on) during the day and at dusk for visability without "wearing out" my HID main beam.
Once suns down fogs are off and mains are on. I too cant stand people who drive around with fogs and mains on day or night.

(neons are legal in WA if the light source is not visable.. ie the actual tube cant be seen. Check with your local licensing centre Tweigh and they SHOULD tell you the same)

hahaha rice is nice eh timbo :D

cant believe u didnt change ur parkers sooner!!! when i first got my euro i hated how the parkers were a thick ugly shade of yellow compared to the cool clear white of the HID's. changed them pronto to the polarg ones that u got. Then went sorta crazy by gettin rid of all yellow light in my interior and changed em to all LED's. lol :D

I too have only used my fog lights once and only for a few minutes.
I can understand changing to high kelvin ratings for driving lights (not head lights) because I think the yellowy colour just ruins the Xenon lightings brillient white.

I suppose if you have no need for the fog's then do it but I find other peoples fogs shine much easyer into my eyes then regular lights (the angles on the roads and so forth)
