hey guys, wondering when the inside of an exhaust tip is rusted that it's useless. is it worth the hassle of sanding down the rust inside the tip or just chuck the damn thing?

Just buy a new tip.. much easier. You can pick cheap chrome tips up for like $15. Then all you do is take the old one off and put the new one on. Quite simple really

i've checked autobarn, repco, super cheap auto even Kmart for just the tip, but i can't find a decent twin-tip.
i got the tip checked, said it's all good and that its just surface rust.
interesting how they charge around $50 for just welding the tip.. anyone know of any cheap places for this?
