Hi guys, does any CVT owners here notice a whining sound when they put the transmission into reverse?

Yes.. I think it is very common to have that noise when you reverse in the CVT.

I thought the sound was just the kids in the back. Always whining.

ok thanks for the advice guys.
i was tempted to take it to the dealer for a check up as my warranty is about to run out in a few months to check it out, but now i wont need to since it's a common CVT attribute.
Well after owning my Jazz for 2 yrs and 9 months and driving almost 85,000kms, there hasn't been a single problem to date. Superb.
