Recommended Wheel Alignment Outlet

Hi,

I recently got integra fat fives fitted, on my del sol.

The ride under brakes I can feel the car is unbalanced and it seems to wander, majorly left, and sometimes right under brakes.

The alignment was fine before switching rims, so would it be a wheel balance problem or an alignment issue, or both?

If any one has a reccomended alignment specialist that is cheap and effective, in Sydney, please let me know.

It happens when you get wider tires.

its got nothing to do with allignment, its da same for everyone, wider wheels are like dat u turn to the side abit when u brake...

Balancing wouldn't be a bad idea. It's not alignment tho if it was fine before. As for a recomended place, they're all about as bad as each other ;)

I had a similar problem after I put some 'stockies' on my car. The car would pull left a bit under normal driving (on a flat road).

It cant be a good thing? feels weird having to correct it all the time,must wear the tyres too

I think the tyres are the same width just 15 inch rim, instead of the 14, and a lower profile of 55 opposed to 60.

Are they new or old tires? Older tires make the problem worse

any tyre/suspension outlet/workshop should do an allignment if ur in need

same here! but the wheels are stock 7" wheels. it sucks...and since its stock, i believe it can be corrected. let alone fat fives, they came stock from the factory on other cars and are not ridicously wide, so it might be worth while just to get the rebalanced and also realigned for your car as well as the tyre pressure adjusted to correct.

yeah I get the same prob too, with 17s, sometimes the wheels do the steering for me.. into a wall, hahaha.

Can someone confirm if you change wheels, will you need to do a re-alignment ?

I believe if u change ur suspension u have to. Probably applies to wheels as well. May as well. only costs $60 max hehe

you'd have to be really keen to do it for your wheels, only if your a perdantic freak.
Suspension and all that jazz is a MUST!

I'm a pedantic little focker. haha..i've gone back to the dealer heaps of times to get the car going straigt on the freeway. sh1ts me when it drives itself.

lol. Like I said, its not a neccessity at all after changing wheels, but suspension changes definitly requires an allignment, cheap as and usually while-you-wait!
