nah steer clear of that shit...

theres no cheap way of making cars go "harder"...especially hondas unfortunately

just go for the tried and trusted i/h/e (intake/headers/exhaust)...

however, if you really need a significantly faster car...there are only two real options available to you..

1. turbo it
2. engine swap with a b16a (1.6L Double overhead Cam VTEC) or if you are swimming in money (which you aren't if you are looking for cheap mods), go the integra type r engine (B18C7)

but a passion in car performance is one of the stupidest most expensive hobbies =)...but fun

haha well mate there isn't THAT much you can do to get considerable power increases. There are d16 headers on the traders at the moment for $219, those and say a 2" catback would give u a bit more power .. thats what id be doing =)

Yeah agree with James there. A set of headers for your car, decent intake and an exhaust will definitely do you good.

rough.. very rough guestimation

bodykits + paint + fitting = $1000+
suspension = 500+

IHE = 700+

haha dude its ok not to know much, obviously thats why you came here :)

To break it down a bit simply..

Your car is a EG VTi right? So you will have the d16y1 engine

Headers also refered to as extractors, are the pipes leading OUT of the engine, into the exhuast pipe. Better quality build, larger ports and better bends mean better flow allowing a bit more power.

With an exhuast that has a larger diameter and better quality bends allow better flow of air and less restriction, also giving you slightly more power. Depending on built quality, size etc of course. Its all a variable.

Do you mean have a quieter exhaust note compared to the other draining exhausts that you hear? Get yourself a Mugen exhaust and you'll love the peaceful-ness of the exhaust while driving and at idle but you'll also love the SCREAM of the vtec. ;)

There is the Parts for Sale thread which is here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11). It's kinda rare to find an exhaust for sale in here but you might find other goodies.

There's the Traders section over here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30) where you can buy products at discounted prices from OzHonda Traders.

You're best bet would be trying the Traders section. :)
