1 more question would the engine last longer cause i heard the exhaust works by letting the air quicker therfore giving less stress to the engine

Is this going on a h22a powered NA prelude?

If it is, 3" is a bit big man.

i never of an exhaust system putting 20kw
But 2.25" would be sufficient for N/A and yes you can find exhaust system for around 1k but you wont be gettin 20kw out it.

next time put all your questions in the one post....

also do a search.....

THEN, if you cant find what your looking for, ask. Because by the looks of it you dont really have a clue about what your asking.

- your never going to get a 20kw increase in power just from changing your exhaust

- opening your throttle at the same point after your exhaust upgrade will still be relatively the same and i doubt you will notice much power difference at half throttle.

- your engine longevity isnt really gonna be impacted on greatly by your exhaust system, more so, the way you drive and how often you service it and the products you use.

- lastly 3" is goin to be too big on a stock n/a h22a engine

hope that helps ;)

where are you located?
If you are in Sydney, Liverpool Exhaust has Hurrican exhaust system that you can get installed for just a lil over 1k. I havent seen the dyno figure of it, but it does give you some gain.

i went to live exhausts and got a 2" system put on for 800...got manderal bent with hurricane extractors and highflow car..so it should be round the figure for u too..

but dont expect it to be like phwoooaaa

20 kw? lol...don't put a 3" u might lose power rather then gaining. ill say 2 1/4" - 2 1/2" with a decent muffler.

I've been quoted by XFORCE that the typical gain for using their header is around 7 kw ( not incl. changing the cat, and the rest but they won't give noticeable gain anyway) but u'll gain lots of torque.

the 20 kw gain only applicable to turbo cars not on NA

wait... pushing halfway before now equals quarter after if you make 20kw more at full...

what on earth are you asking?

lol dw man he's new to this.

exhaust won't get you too much more power man , u mite notice some more pull in the higher revs tho.

get a 2.4 inch mandrel bent exhaust if you can . thats if you have an h22a. best if you have header and hi flow cat too . i dunno how good the xforce header would be tho .. i personally wouldnt get it .
