Surprisingly there are very few V6 owners here. I'll get flamed for this very generalised and sweeping comment - but maybe it is because the demographic of users of the internet seem to prefer the Euro.

I am not saying "older" people don't drive the Euro - i just don't see "younger" people drive the V6 Accord. Let the flamming begin :p

yfin, that's a fair statement - in australia the accord v6 is targeted to an older demographic, and forums are generalyl populated by younger people.

I would have liked the accord v6 coupe if honda bought that to australia, but the non-euro accord just isn't as focused ("sporty") and that's what turned me off it. Awesome cars tho im sure

All I'd say is that the "Seppo" Accord looks better than the Camry. Against the Euro? C'mon get serious...

Yeah that looks better - a 6speed manual would be good!

From what I've seen, most people that have the V6 model (not all as there are some V6 accord ppl here), think that their model is better, more saphisticated (spelling) and the euro is some cheap copy that stole their name. One of our clients has 1 and I thought I could get a decent conversation outa him about both being Accord owners and the diff's between them, NUP, not interested, just pushed his nose up at me.

Ade - you are a funny bloke! I totally understand your argument about Euros being common.

The "too expensive" point is a little weak as in the same breath- you ask about getting the mugen kit!!! That mod is going to cost you the money you are trying to save in not buying the Euro! lol :D

V6 Accord owner here and I'm only in my early 30's. Went in to a Honda dealership with the intention of getting a Euro Luxury but walked out with an Accord V6 Luxury. All you need is a nice set of rims on it and subtly lower it and they look pimp! :)

And yes, I do agree the Euro, as good a car as it is, is just too common now.

hehe that pic with the pimp wheels. notice how he;s got a "elite" sticker on it. must be some indo, aussie car club..or else hes still sulking from finishing his international studies and having to go back home. so keeps a sticker for sentimentals sake

US Accord's styling is nicer... If they had given the Aus Accord suspension that more akin to the 5 series, then it could have sold better. Most of us got turned off by the handling. The suspension of the Accord was set for the 2.0L engines that is sold in Thailand and South East Asia. Put the 2.4L in it and it is still ok. Put the 3.0L V6 and it gets a little too muddy in the steering.

i didnt bother test driving the accord simply because i'd heard it was a bit soft... the modified accords posted in this thread have been real nice though, keep them coming! STTICH, your slowly changing my opinion of the car

I don't mind the V6 and initially that would have been my first preference. But the missus liked the Euro more. And I think it was a good decision! :)

thats one of the nicest accord ive seen love the indo style keep it reall...

I choose euro over the accord is because Euro is made in Japan and accord is in Thai. Both the Accord 4 cyl and the Euro are the same price when I am purchasing my car last year. So it is a very clear option.
