Has any coupe owners had their OEM rear spoilers removed?
If youre in Sydney where did you get it done and for how much?
Ive been quoted $600 minimum which seems to be a bit excessive.

While it does seem high, it depends on what they are going to do. They can simply remove the spoiler, fill the holes with putty and touch up the area or alternatively they will fill the hole with a piece of metal which they will weld in and then paint. Your best bet is to shop around and ask how/what they would do when removing the spoiler.

Hope that helps - one of the Sydney guys can help you with good workshops im sure.

$180 for the spoiler removed and a full boot repsray. Should be similiar in Sydney.

That's what I was hoping, my car is at a smash repair at the moment for other work, they said about $600 for removing the spoiler filling up the holes and respray of boot. Maybe even more than $600 depending on the size of the holes. I think I should look around more and get some quotes.

how about you remove the spoiler yourself and just get them to fill up holes and respray? but yeah, get some quotes.
