That really depends, the front one just replaces the original strut brace....im not 100% on whether gsis have em but all it is is 4 bolts......theyree in plain site..

The rear brace you gotta look in your boot above the wheel arches, on the plastic sort of trim around the edge there should be little panels that pop off. THere are mounts to moun the rear strut bat in there.....

Hope that helps

there's nothing in the way
it should just bolt straight up to the chassis

I do assume u mean the stock DC2R Chassis brace, becoz the car doesn't come with a strut bar.
I replaced my chassis brace with a spoon front strut bar.

Having said that, I'm not sure if the DC4 Chassis has the bolts on the chassis required to bolt the chassis brace onto

if your refering to the a/c hoses being in the way on the passenger side... just loosen the bolts holding it.. then put the chassis bar in place.. then tighten all the bolts back up..

if ur a bit weary.. take it to a mechanic =)

We don't have the necessary bolts on our chassis already. I have the four holes covered with little black plugs. I'm guessing you'd be able to get them from any Honda spare parts dealer?

cheers egads
yeah notice the vtir strut brace is in front of the tb, and the itr strut brace is behind the tb and intake manifold. thats cos i put the strut brace on backwards, just so i didnt have to muck around with my tb and accelerator cable.

you'll get it when u go to put it on

On ITR's the throttle cable does a sort of loop around the engine bay. on vtir it goes straight in. There is a part on the throttle body where the accelerator cable joins onto it that will get in the way of the ITR strut brace. You are going to have to set up the accelerator cable in a similar way to an itr.

If u need pics ill try and let u a hand with some.

Cheers

im not 100% sure, cos i think i have a ITR intake manifold, and the throttle body may be different.

You got two opwtions, 1 - mount it backwards, so the type r badge will be on the wrong side, you can unbolt the strut brace and swap over the mounts, or you can just redirect the throttle cable. i was going to do it with my car, i dont think its that big of a deal.
