i have an 89 teggy XSI that i imported early this year...

anyways, to the point, latley the "ALB" light will stay on after i start the car... but if i turn the car off and on again it turns off. this will happen once or twice a week, so not very often.

is this any cause for concern?... what could be cauzing this?

thanx

dude, you have to find the ALB ecu, might be under one of the seats.

it will have a flashig LED on it like the PGMFI ecu, it will blink out the fault code

my guess its an Acuumulator Gas Leak

very common for ALB and a car that age

I had this occuring when i had an alternator problem, when the car started getting low on juice the abs light would come on, then eventually the dials stopped working..

Maybe try checking your battery charge and alternator efficiency.

I also have an XSi but not with ABS. Didn't know it was even an option in '89!
