Hi guys,
I've now got heaps of free time and its time I fix up my Civic.
The globe for the tail light is not working or burnt out, I'm looking to fix this the free time.
Then I was thinking, while fixing it I might as well install them chrome altezza tailights.

I cant for the love of god remove them nor can I figure how to.
Anyone care to show me?

Also, I was also considering to install angel eyes, gotta love the looks of it.
are they hard to install? is it just replace the old ones? and you're done?

tail removal. open ur boot and under the plastic parts (the ones where you change ur bulbs) should be some bolts with nuts on them. undo them and ur tails should come off with a little forceful help.

***edited: you dont have the centre section hahahahah***

Civic, hatch.
Going to be hella crazy, I've even struggled to fit my seat covers in the back seat before.
Like you i had neck cramps.
Boot is even smaller, so that will be more crazy for me!

Hi Kazaf,
As for the angel eye projector headlights, it should be a direct fit into your dear Civic. However, you would need to connect the angel eye light to your stock headlights wiring. Soldering will be require to do that job. Some projector headlights may have done that and all you need to do it plug it into the stock H4 connector.
And also those angel eye headlights may use different bulbs size. For example, my projector headlight from Sonar uses 2 X H1 bulbs instead H4. 1 for High beam and the other for low.
Hope that these info helps...
Cheers!

Is there a guide anywhere here?

dude, its not hard....

just look in your boot...pull off the plastic bits, undo the nuts, unclip the wires and do the same in reverse to install the altezzas

I have just managed to fit the inner lights in.
Cannot not figure a way to get the corner rear lights out.
I see a screw, then there is another one which I cannot see.
God, look at how nasty it looks.

Arghh wont friggen fit.
Managed to get the side out though.
The tail light is smaller, I thought I'd put black tape on the outting to make it thicker.

Farout anyone else installed altezza's?
How'd you freaken do it.

VOILA!
Screwed on, a bit of a gap on the top, but I really cant be stuffed to make it too perfect.
That's just one side, 1 1/2 hours work.
Now for the other side.

mine fit in perfectly :s i didnt install mine tho so i cant really help :( altho i did jus pick up my Angel eye style 1 piece chrome head lights for my EH civic... they looked fockin awsome but they didnt fit :( as soon as i put them in i instantly noticed a massive hole between the indicator and the gaurd... i knew str8 away they gave me the Hatch back ones :( so i had to take them back :( now i have to wait like 2 weeks to get them back :( but i rated the looks of them...

mine arent "angel eyes" tho as i have heard countless complaints about the actual ring or angel eye, blowing, and when these blow they are impossible to replace without sending them back,... mine look EXACTLY the same altho the ring on mine doesnt light up...shame tho cause i really wanted them :(

Kazaf
24-12-2005, 03:34 PM
I really want Angel eyes.
Arent the ring's lit up by LED's though?

VTi_b0i
24-12-2005, 03:42 PM

but yehh i herd so0o0o many complaints with the rings blowing and even the guy in the shop told me not to get the angel eye ones unless i really really want them... mine look identical but so its okz

Yes these wonderful lights are spectacular but a few problems would likely occur.
It's a pain in the ass when you think about it.
