Hey guys,
First of all i have read the thread on not asking how much things cost, but i am just asking if the quotes i have received seem accurate.
I have been to a couple of panel beaters to get quotes on getting my bomex front bar, mugen sideskirts and ITR wing resprayed. They are off the car and i am installing them myself, the quotes i have received (sanding, priming and respraying) for the panels have been around the $1500.
From previous experience, is this a reasonable price, or am i being taken for a ride?

it seems decent. it is a fair bit of work. take into consideration, most insurance quotes for the respraying and repairing of one panel/bumper go for about $1000 mark. keeping in mind that companies do charge more from the insurance company because they know they arent taking it from the customers pocket. $1500 sounds like a decent deal for a front bar side skirts and a pretty big wing. Be careful in fitting all the parts to your car. i cant stress the importance of test fitting the parts to your car if you are going to do it yourself. make any altercations to kit, i.e cutting, shaping, straightening, before spraying it. Make sure everything is flush, otherwise if you alter it after it is painted, you risk ****ing up the paint job you just shelled out your $$$ for. its a big job, good luck with it man.

im guessing that ur parts are already painted and if this is the case depending on how they painted and the quality the more or less expensive its gonna be...for example my front bar was painted previously by some stooge...i got reversed into no damage just paint chiping and then got quotes to get it fix...one shop said 1.3k for the front bar alone and the place that actually did it quoted me 1000 front bar alone....so 1.5k for all 3 parts doesnt seem like much but im sure u can get it a little cheaper then that..... and u usualyl get what u pay for when it comes to panel beating so yerr.... i once got quoted by a friend panel beater 800 for respray of front, rear bumper bar and side skirts
