is there any 6 speed trannies that bolt up to a b18? i want to put a 6 speed in my tegra but iam not shure if there is any out there your help would be appriciated!

why would you want to put in a 6 speed, there is no advantage in doing so.

Im prety sure there is an aftermarket company that makes 6mt, just cant remember the company name. Its gona set you back a fair bit though, I think its around $4000, but this is a fully adjustable tranny so you can dial into whatever ratios you want.

sounds like a big job and expensive aswell, with no gains really, why do you want to do it?

as for why... have you ever had to drive a type r every day on the highway
at 3500-4000rpm for an hour? in the morning and at night

well i need more top end ant the 6 speed in the dc5 has got more top end! have you ever driven a turbo b18 at 4000rpm the turbs gets realy realy realy hot and iam rebuilding the turbs every 30.000km luckley its not my car but iam getting sick and tired of rebuilding turboz! and trust me money is no object for my friend!

y dont u just get a different gear set/ final drive
custom made .. to spec if u r so worried about highway cruising

hahah.. if you're changing gear boxes just go all out and get a sequential gearbox please :)
And let me know what you find that fits, if I win lotto I want to install such a thing in my DC2R...

Is there any way to cool the turbos other than changing the gear box?? I dont entirely understand why u need to rebuild turbos cause there hot dude......Garrett and companies design the turbo to operate at high temp??? Maybe you should look into getting a better quality turbo

the turbo is a hks 32/40 and its worth about $7500 so there no problem with the quality, suquentual gearboxes are good but they are too noisy. thanks for all your help but ive got the info i need from my uncle who owns trimboli race team so, if yous need any advice on anythibg just hit me up and ill get u the info u need
