okay... so i am starting to weigh out my options

b16a

b18b
b18b with lsvtec conversion (including replacing internals0

b20
b20 with vtec conversion (including replacing internals)

h22a

is it hard to get a larger engine than 1.6 to be legal in a civic? if it is then i think ill just go with the b16a. so how much approximately would i be looking at for each swap including labour... i just need the approximate cost. any help would be appreciated.
im in perth as well and my car is a eg sedan with a d15z1 and i will need to change my transmission too... i think ive got a cable transmission...

b18c7 (integra type r) looking at $10,000.

B18C 95-98 DC2 type R version 1 $5500 / B18C 97-01 DC2 type R version 2 $6000

i doubt it'll cost $4000 for labour..

i doubt it'll cost $4000 for labour..

i personally would like to have 10k banked for that...

-engine cost
-brake upgrade
-suspension upgrade
-labour
-fluids
-tools
-engineers cert

probably will drop a little short of 10k, but 10k is a good amount to have to ensure everything is covered.

Also, you will need an engineering certificate even for the b16a swap, so its worth considering the others also. These usually cost around $800.

d15z1sux, you need to work out what your aim is and what your budget is.

Which ever engine you get will require Engineers certificate...

I got B18C in my EG and cost me all up around $4000 for just labour, new clutch and enineer's cert.

So depending on what engine you get the price will vary..
Also if you get the b16a from EK Vtir I think you may need to mod the mounts so that'll be extra costs..
