if you were to buy a h22a front cut conversion and put it into a crx do you weld the h22a front cut to the crx or do extend the crx engine bay and put it in thanks :honda:

LOL
that would take some mighty fine engineering to do so, that would weaken the chassis incredibly IMO.
You take your old engine out of your engine bay and install the new h22a along with custom mounts that hold it in place.

btw, this is not an easy task, not at all. You will also need plenty of other things to get the h22a up and running in your car and it will cost alot more than just the halfcut aswell, not a cheap job.

im not 100% but i think you can use either the integra/crx mounts. not sure which ones. Someone else will be able to confirm this im sure.
I do know that a b-series swap (b18c/b16a etc) is much easier and you require little or no custom parts as compared to the H-series swap. Its a much more appropriate option IMO. Check out the DIY B18C swap into an EG Civic by ECU-MAN, it is in the Articles/Reviews section i think. It is a fantastic write-up although its not in a crx it will still give you an insight as to what to expect.
