Hi guys,
I'm looking for a Honda mechanic in Melbourne to look over my car. Not wanting a Tuner/modifier, just want a good tune-up.
Throwing a code 7, replaced the throttle body, code still present after ECU reset. Rough idle, sounds like its missing. Changed spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

d/l the w/shop manual..
if u really want..
and go through the troubleshooting flowcharts..
a code 7 may not necessarily be the TB straight away.. but could be something linked to the component..

I have heard very good things about Razztech (see - BLKCRX) and CRS Automotive. Depends where you are. Razz in Thomastown and CRS in PAtterson lakes

I've got an 88 Integra, impossible to find any shop manuals online :( Also, I'm in the Eastern suburbs (Doncaster), so both those are kinda out of the way. I could take it to CRS then go to the beach though :)

Try Ward While Motors in Boxhill. Ask for Graham. I go there myself alot and alot of friends/fellow ozhonda members go there and trust him very well.
He is in Boxhill as well, not far at all from doncaster. He is a Honda specialist as well =)

you have a wiring problem, or a fault with your ecu.
how sure the TPS is ok on the new TB

I don't know if the TPS is good, how would I actually check though? I'm not able to check voltages, because there are no bare wires when its plugged in, and it won't work if its unplugged.

Yes there is. Stick the multimeter probe into the back of the plug on the ecu.
