What about a normal EK 4dr sedan front and back speaker sizes. I think the fronts in the door are 6" but only had a quick look. Not sure about the back as its a bit harder to get the covers off.

2000 model if it helps.

Had a look in my car today and the rears in my EK are 6x9s, Pioneer as well :D

Not sure on the RMS rating but the model number is TS-09096ZH/XQ

Google didnt find anything so if anyone has any more information then it would be great. (not sure if they are stock as i bought the car second hand.)

Yes they're stock. They use them on Fords too. Don't pump your volume too loud as you will destroy them. They are a great speaker for running off a stock unit though :D

I can only fit 5.25" in the front of my hatch without chopping stuff

But you can fit 6" in the front with a tiny bit of modification :D
(depends on how deep your speakers are)
but you can just cut the plastic backing from the door to fit them in :D

Do you have an EK or an EG ?

Would you be the same size as a Sedan ?

I had a look in my ek4 hatch last week and it has 6x9" speakers in the back and 5.25" speakers in the front. All are single cone speakers, and sound really poor compared to the standard stereo in my brother's 94 model accord.

Grills are really easy to take off. 3 screws on the back panels, clips on the front panels.

I have the 6.5" philips splits out of my old car, might see if i can make them fit next weekend :P

I put some Boston FX 6.5" speakers in the front with much hacking about. A couple of weeks after I installed them, Boston released an FX model suited just for Honda doors, doh!
