For one, EG civics in OZ never came with "stock" strut bars...the one you are referrign to is a " chassis brace" - it came stock upon EK4 and DC2 vtirs i believe - does not so much in hte wat of stiffness....

What you want is an actual "Strut brace" -

for example my sexy front one ;)

or maybe a rear one if u like :P

Such a bar mounts directly to the suspension struts (tops) - directly linking both sides - making the front or back suspension work more so in union ;)
But in such a understeer biased car such as our lil EG...i would suggest only gettin either a rear strut bar with stock suspension...other wise get both :)

well ok the 1's that come stock on the VTIR civic

they dont go over the shocks they only bolt on to the body,,

which is less effective than the 1's that go over the shocks

i think jon still has a cusco strut left ask him

why would honda designers put it there if it's not effective? BLING?

Muahahaha.....DO i tell of where these sexy bars came from ????
Carbing is a hardcore underground brand...NOT common at all....very hard to get at and possibly find too - although , Im sure Tanghy upon this forum can get you some in ;)

BTW....these are easily the strongest braces around :)
Check this post- Tangy has a similar one for sale -

WTF?

- CAR"BLING" : a play on the brand spelling with double meaning...

- "sexy ass white": describing the colour of the item and proclaiming my love for its aesthetic values.
