hey all, i run a single 800w 12" pioneer sub off a jaycar amp, im pumping about 330 watts rms into the sub and at a local sound off on the weekend it won class C...id never entered in a sound off before so i was very surprised!

Which pioneer sub? the SVC or DVC? at 4ohm or 2ohm?

Using the same sub off of a boss amp (POS basically) i got 114db. Pretty happy with that.

Whered u get that amp from?

what capacitor are u running h22a_accord?

pump 500 WRMS into it.. u'lll hit 130db+ easy, in hatch you'll already be in 130db range with that setup.

Is this sub the 305c? or the other silver model? if so [305c] u can put the sub with around 400-500WRMS, cuz those subs can handle a thrashing.

there is some new thing called the term lab that they use at autosalon and car audio aus events that is more accurate than the old testing which records higher db readings. To get 130 -135db on the term lab u need a pretty good thought out sustem.

anyway im running 2x10in pioneer subs off a p6001 rockford monoblock... yet to be tested.
