hi all, was wondering whether springs are interchangeable between civics from 1987 to 2000 models, cheers

yes that is correct - with the exception with EK front and ED rear springs which from what ive found usually are alittle different in length. But - generally all springs will fit vice versa.

is this a safe thing to do?, with regard to spring rates etc?

depending on your spring....
the height of your car would sit weird...
eg putting teg springs into a civic ek

put EK springs into an Accord CD once (accidently)... slammed the car nicely :)
not reccomended though

a lil help please... so would this be ok, to put lowed king springs from a EH sedan into a ED hatch, and lowered jumbos into a EH sedan?
