For what it's worth I've just fitted Type R suspension to my DC2 and it has transformed the car. Being a little heavier makes for a slightly softer ride than the DC2R but it sits flat, gets power down much more efficiently, no pitching during braking and acceleration, while remaining very firm but comfortable, no crashing over bumps either.
Visually the wheel arch gap above the tyres is equal front to rear thus making the front marginally lower than the rear. Overall lowered by approx. 25mm.
The EG is much lighter, 950kg I think? So the springs won't compress quite as far, perhaps close to 20mm lower than stock, and will feel firmer.
The best part is it doesn't draw unwanted attention at this height but still looks good and rides brilliantly.
:D

Springs and shocks (only 23,000kms) I paid $300 plus shipping from Brisbane and $245 for Rear lower control arms from JDMyard.
I would have happily paid up to $500 for less than 50,000kms.

im under the understanding that eg , ek , dc springs are all interchangable only the spring rate differs.

how does the car sit in ride height just out of curiousity

I don't think they fit EK. I don't have any photos yet but there's an even gap above tyres to the guards front and rear. The best I could describe is that the gap is a little closer to the guard at the top than the sides and more so at the front.

EG and Type R chassis fully loaded are approximately the same weight... seems like a good BFYB upgrade to swap over to ITR sussy - not just springs... though i guess then the issues is finding ITR LCAs...

personally it still sits a little too high for me :)
