hey guys, i got a 94 civic sedan, and i currently have 15" rims, i wanna buy new rims, should i go for 16 or 17"

i like both, i reckon my self, that 16" is more suited for the hatch and 17 for the sedans, but my question is, if i get 17" for my car, will there be a huge gap from the tire to the fender and will the car be high. will i have to lower it

if so, where can i go, can i go to pedders suspension, or where, and what do i ask for. i dont want the tires to sit underneath the fenders,

what is the info on how much inch to lower and how much it will cost

thanks

17's would be nice the wheel should be the same height its just more rim less tyre but will prolly sit just a bit higher so the springs u want should be just low's thats in king springs which is about a 1.5-2 inch drop which will look nice.

cheers.

thanks, cause i passed through my local bob jane tmarts branch, they have a replica of ROTA 8 and 10's 16" and 17"

i dont care about the brand, if i get 16" how much should be the drop.

also, when i bought this car, the previous guy put 2.5" exhaust pipe on the car, that is way to big for my car right.

my cause is a d16y vtec auto. i dont want any exhaust sound, especially in a auto, it sounds crap. i dont mind a little sporty sound, but very very light and quiet sound, nothing to get attention. what should the pipe size be, all i can see, he did it up to the Cat converter, and the muffler is just some ordinary RED back exhaust. i just recently changed the exhaust cause the previouse muffler was a straigh through and it was loud, this on is baffled.

i think the stock pipe size is 1.75, is this 2.5" pipe making my lose power and giving me crapper fuel economy. whats pipe size should i get and how much and what do i ask for.

i would rather have no exhaust noise, just the sound of the engine,

get 16"s dude. i have a 92 sedan and had 17's on it....u will find the rear camber is rooted and u will be going through tires like theres no tomorrow....i have 16"s now and they are so much better, less bumpy ride, i dropped mine about 2.5 inches and it looks nice i think

get a 2 inch exhaust with a resonator. Get a muffler that comes with a silencer if you dont like the sound.

go the rota c8's in 16".. they will look hot. 17" is too big IMO.. i did have 17" once on my sedan and never again. If your car is white id go with silver wheels too, i know this isnt a sedan but these are 16's and on a white 5th gen civic so u can get somewhat of an idea of what it would look like :)

thansk guys i will go for the 16" C8's or C10's

but one more question about the exhaust, i looked underneath y car, between the muffler and the cat converter, there is a nother thingy between it, looks like a hotdog shape. is that my resonator, is the 2.5" too big for my car, how much difference will there be betwwen the 2.5 and 2"

i dont want a stainless steel muffler, i think my muffler right now is quite alright, its a baffled on so it is much more quieter then my old straigh through muffler.

would the 2.5" give me crapper performance and crapper fuel economy

and also, my current rims are 15" and the tires im not sure what profile they are but i thinks its 3" in height, my brother has my car so i cant find out the profile. but there quiet a huge gap bewteen the wheel and gaurd,

if i get 16" and the same 3" profile tires will it close tht gap and will i have to lower the car still, cause if i can just get new rims and wheels, better, cause i have a budget
