Hi Wyn (and any one else who would like to comment),
I was just wondering if it were possible to start an exhaust shop recommendations thread. I have just recently had a very poor experience in a local exhaust shop in Melbourne and while I am not looking to 'out' the company I am looking for a reputable shop who can fix my exhaust.
While there are numerous threads on shops, I thought that it might be a good idea to have a single thread that can be 'stuck' up the top of one of the subforums where people can post there recommendations of credible shops to use, who tend to know there stuff.
Rather than a 'dont use this shop' thread it would be more of a 'I have had good work done at this shop and recommend them' thread. This could be done for each state within the one thread. This would save on the numerous number of times people ask "where is a good exhaust place in my state" threads that appear to keep popping up.
There might also be a way to add to a shops 'reputation' if more than one person has had a good experience dealing with a particular business?
So, what do you all think?
P.S. If anyone can recommend a good shop for S.E. Melbourne to do some custom piping/muffler work can you drop me a PM :) :D
