does any 1 kno where i can get my self some new clear rear lights for my lude

They basically dont make them... There has been a few floating around from place to place, you sometimes see on preludepower etc, but there isnt enough demand for the "Euro" tail lights.

If by clear lights you mean the series 2 set, it will cost you around $700 for the materials, and its not a simple job.

would it be easyier buying a custom set of rear lights or tracking down a set of these

Basically, there are no custom sets available. You have a Gen2, when i read the title, i took it in the context of being a gen3. Refer to your car as its gen, the 1987 model is usually a 3rd gen, unless yours is built in very early 1987.

Basically, having a second gen, that information is irelivent. If they dont make aftermarket tail lights for a 3rd gen, it is even more unlikely for a second gen.

It would take a extreme lot of work to put 3rd gen tail lights onto a second gen.

i hav found sum places that will make sum lights 4 me but they want the design of the lights that r on my lude so the can design sum

They said they would make me a set for my 2nd Gen for $500. They're in Sydney I think check em out and let me know by pm if you end up ordering them and show me what they're like
