it should be grease not oil
you can remove it at home and then just gotta get a new boot fitted
the hole is in the boot right?
take it off and take it to the mechanic to change the boot for you

Rofl.. kallan why dont you email me or ask me on msn... anywho.. your best bet is to goto autoone or repco and ask them for the boot. But i actually had my inner cv joint replaced on my left side.. fairly expensive! ouchy!

It cost me $100 for my cv boot to be changed with a genuine boot and a gearbox oil change with genuine honda gear box oil. Also my car was picked up from my house and brought back. I know this is in melbourne but yeah.. my point is that it can be done easily and fairly cheaply!
