Does anyone here suffer from hay fever? I DO...... as JDM Jazz/Fit comes standard with Air condition filter, but AUDM doesn't (Aus air too clean??) I managed to purchase a few Air Con filters from Honda China, fitting was really easy, 10 mins..... i'll do a write up with pics when i install for my friend's jazz....

I've used for about a month now, i took it out the other day just to check how dirty it is, as soon as I took it out, gave it a little shake, oh my god.... i sneezed at least 10 times, and all the tears and sh#t came out....damn, i guess it does work afterall......

here are a few pics:

the filter is located inside a little compartment inside the glovebox that pulls out

is call a "Micron Pollen Filter" if you want to ring Honda and ask
I know they have them for Civics not too sure about Jazz
Honda Aus orders items from Japan so the part number for China is different.

I don't have a Jazz, but the Micron pollen filter for my Euro is $85 at the dealer! In the end, I purchased replacement ones (but not OEM) from Canada. AU$40 for 2 of them, and that already included shipping! Ordered last Wednesday and received them today. But I checked their site, and they don't have a size for Jazz, because USA and Canada does not have Jazz. :(

mine is pretty dirty - I think im goin to try to make my own filter from a H.E.P.A air filter (the type on a expensive vaccum cleaner) - can only give it a try - will post pics in the accord forum.....

Not everyone has special deal at Honda and get all these good prices.. we have to be realistic sometimes... sourcing this is already difficult...

Yeah.. MRFIT.. I've got quoted: $110 +GST for the pads... over $100 will be more realistic I think..

Just received my aftermarket filter. The size is ok, but not as sturdy as the OEM. OEM one has ribs in the middle so it is stiffer while the aftermarket doesn't. Remember when putting the filter into the tray that the sides of the filter are caught by the lip on the tray. It stops the air from leaking through the side.

My A/C smells so much fresher now. No more mouldy smell.

MRFIT

ye, the quote is from the honda dealer...... fitting of the pads isn't too hard..... gotta bleed the brakes too.....

i think if u get the pads changed at Honda is gonna be another 100 bucks for labour.... :(

maybe someone could organise a group buy for the air cond pollen filter, would be helpful to those with difficulties sourcing them, especially here in perth.
