View Full Version : can 205/45/16 and 195/60/14 interchange?

question as titled. saw a unrepairable crashed lancer park on my street for few days, seem as the owner of the crashed lancer will dump it. it has a 205/45/16 wheel with some sporty bridgestone tyre. i believe if the owner want to dump the car, he will happy to accept $100 or something deal.

question is , does it interchangable without any mod to my integra gsi???
will it be a very nice and clean striaght fit? any caution for the new set?
will it be legal for my 98 integra gsi with original 195/60/14???

Are you referring to just the tyres or the wheels and tyres?


If just the tyres then no - one is a 14 inch tyre and the other is a 16
If you are referring to wheels and tyres can you provide some more details including pcd (the holes and the distance apart) and the offset and someone who knows there integras will be able to help.

it has four hole to attach on. it seem like 100% fit to my integra.

i will take the crashed car's four wheel and its tyre together!

but put in mind that there is two sort of four nuts........big space and small spaced ones.... by that i mean the space between nut to nut....

You need to get a ruler and measure the distance from the centre of one of the holes diagonally across the wheel the centre of the other hole. In mm you will either get 100 or 114.3. Then do the same on the wheels that you currently have on your car. If the measurements are the same then the wheels will fit (although you still have not addressed offset etc).

if everything about the hole is perfectly fit, after i fit to my ride, what will happen?
can i run two front wheel with 205/45/16, and two rear wheels with 195/60/14 ?

it come off from a 90s lancer coupe. local ranger has put a "rubbish removal" note on its wiper for few days! as i am living on the same street and only 20 meters from where the car is, i will keep eyes on it easyly! i have already put a " i want you wheels for cash" note on its wiper, hope the note woun't upset the owner!

I'm pretty sure teh 90 lancer has 4x100
because i've actually seen one here with mugen wheels
(the squary small one that looks similar to old galant)

just go up and ring the doorbell, ask to speak to the owner, and try a wheel on ure car...
