I've recently acquired a J's Racing CF Intake for my EG VTi and am about to install it (thanks Seph :D). But heres the problem...
On the original intake pipe, the only thing connected to it along the way is the oil blowby line from the rocker cover. On the J's intake though, there are 2 holes. The first has the blowby line connected to it and the second has a rubber grommet in it. Seph tells me that this rubber grommet is for the MAP sensor (it was installed originally on an EK) but as far as I can tell, the MAP sensor is plumbed into the intake manifold as part of the throttle plate on my engine. Is this different on EKs? If not the MAP sensor, then what should go here? Or should I just get a rubber seal to close up the hole?
Help from anyone who has actually installed one on an EG would be much appreciated but all help is welcome :) Just so you know, I've already looked through Trav's DIY on this subject and I can't find the info I'm after...
