CF bonnet won't close!

I've just put on my CF bonnet and everything fits perfectly but the bonnet won't close all the way:( :confused:
it latches onto the first hook but won't close properly..

theres 3 bolts on the latch
loosen it and lift it up a little at a time, if you lift it too high there will be a gap
theres also those 2 rubber support things, twist them to make little adjustments, again dont do too muich otherwise there will be a gap

edit: those rubber support are there so it doesnt hit your chassis (stops vibration) so dont make it sit too low. spose to just touch. I left mine on the lowest settings.

sorry let me be more specific.
the bonnet won't close AT ALL. it catches the latch but when i force the bonnet to completely close it jumps back up onto the latch and WILL NOT close at all.

i've searched and found it could be the tension of the latch spring, but how do you loosen the tension of the latch spring??

yeah loosen the latch so it has more play and pull the bonnet back a little :P

also loosen the bolts connecting the bonnet to the lever arms, they usually have a bit of play in them too.
