zex stage 2 is known to be one of the best for a street/strip d-series. crower power comes on 2 late.

D16Y1 = D16Z6 in the States :thumbsup: 92-95

D16Y8 is the same in AUS and US I think 95-00

You'll need new valve springs/Retainers too match

Last time I looked into it, it was about $1000 AU not installed

mate on a D series engine CAMs are a waste of money. Your better off saving you money for something like a Turbo. Might cost you about $3k but you will surely feel the difference. You might spend $1.5k on CAMs but what use it is if you are gonna get wat like 100kws or so at the fly wheel, any B series engine is still gonna be quicker.

Get a turbo and you will get at the very least 130kw and heaps of torque enough to blow even most of your v8s

Well if its NA get a b16 or b18 (if you can afford it) it will still make better power

I looked into it for over a year reading and reading and the money spent on cam/Springs/Retainer + installation costs will set you back over $2000

Now that’s without a PP or anything, for that you’re looking at $800 to $1200

Then you need a programmable ECU to make it all wok to its full postnasal, $350 to $400 Hondata N/A version plus say $500 for tuning

After all that I would say you’d be lucky to hit 100KW at the wheels, Anyone what’a guess!!!?????? plus there's no more room to upgrade after that :rolleyes:

Total $3650 or more if you don’t do it on the cheap side lol

OK import a Greddy kit $2500 plus say $1000 install and straight away you should hit over $100KW at the wheels

Upgrade intercooler/ECU/Injectors and 120KW at the wheels should reachable plus there's lots of room to upgrade

Anyone want to shoot down my argument???

Best way to learn you know

Cheer’s Luke
