hi guys ive been on this forum for quite a while now and i need some help.

- my mums accord does heaps of km's where at 320,000 now so

firstly: i want to clean out the injectors and intakes, do you think this might help make the engin work smoother.

and

Secondly: My mechanic told my mum that the oil pump needs to be changed becuase its got a whole in it he quoted $1000 totally fitted but that is too much, i thought now maybe i can get some aftermarket 1 that would fit for a cheap price, any ideas

nah the V6 accord is my car.....my mum has a 1992 EXI 4ws accord, drives great and has never let the whole family down has all original motor and gearbox and still going even though its done 320,000...Honda done a fantastic job on the longevity of the components on this accord....i recommend it to anyone that does high, high KM's

i dont really know the engin bay looks clean except you can see oil to the right end of the engine.

and my mechanic wants 1000 bucks to fix it, i thought maybe there is another way, a cheaper way to fix it

could just be the crank shaft seal.

I suggest you get another mechanic to look at it.
