Hi guys
Where do you guys service your DC5 models?
I'm a little fed up with Honda dealership.

I've got mates with DC5's and DC2's that take theirs to N1 Service Factory

They'll take care of you down there.. there are already quite a number of Melb
members that take their cars there for all sorts..
Meh honda do a good enough job for me at the moment which one are u going to?

You should still have warranty with your type S dc5 take it to Honda ! and only Honda.
supply your own oils if you don't want to use Honda oils. Only once you start modifying your car above stock form should you start taking it to a performance expert

Meh honda do a good enough job for me at the moment which one are u going to?
Used to go Robert Lane in Brighton. (Their 'expert' mechanics somehow failed to spot an oil leak and faulty oil filter which the other dealership had fixed).
I go to Courtney and Patterson now.

im looking at getting a dc5R about a 2002/3 model what are the ushual costs for the servies.. mate of mine said that they can be a pricy bitch to service.....

ummmmmm bump????
you just took over someone else's thread..but anyway...
costs are about $150 to $200 for minor service...
and up to $700 for major service
this is a very broad indication

Depends whats pricey to you. Lets just say for the cash outlay I haven't been thrilled by Honda service in general.

oh ok..... one of my mates recons it will cost like 400 for the minor and 1000-1400 for the majour servies... so it is quite cheap to service..... im gonna stick a firecracker up his a** for putting a doubt in my mind lol!

ive got absoloutly no dramas servicing the beast myself.....
there are somethings that you just cant do ya know ;)

Last time I took my Type R to Honda for a minor service, it was less than $300. Not too expensive for a dealership service if you ask me.
