Well then.
I think 2in would be fine.
I think 2.25 would be too big

you might get 3hp

I'm pretty sure its 2.25... well thats what my exhaust dude put on my car... I think he knows his business not too sure though... he's only been doing it for 30 years.

Yeah, I recommend you guys stick with 2 inch mandrel bent if you are only doing cat back.

only use 2.25 if you are doing a full exhaust system, but even then, I think 2.25 inch is a bit too big for a small displacement NA 4 cyl.

I agree. no more required for a stock ZC

*edit*not nessisary*

It is on the larger side of an exhaust size but it worked very well on my car so I really can't complain and will continue to recomend 2.25 for the dohc 1.6... i dunno about the sohc vtec though.

what do u mean by full exhaust? headers, cat and back yeh?

thats what he would mean... he could also be implying a high flow cat but again small displacment 4cyl NA...

Yep, I'm referring to a full exhaust system, i.e. Extractors, High Flow Cat, and a Cat back exhaust.

Also, one thing to note is that extractors are tuned to provide optimal flow at a particular RPM.
Typically, 4-2-1 extractors will provide a better low to mid range gain than a set of 4-1 extractors, which is typically more for high rpm power.

so having said that, if you really must goto 2.25 inch, its probably best that you only use it in conjunction with 4-2-1 extractors.

I'd probably go for 2.25 on the vti/si personally. But you'll notice hardly any difference between 2" and 2.25" by just doing catback.

Kit

Xforce seem to be very good value for money. and I believe they are a copy of japanese brand name exhausts.

I haven't used or seen one before so I can't really comment.

if you PM Fueltank on this forum he should be able to help you out, i think he sells em.
