hey guys im gonna be swapping my old tired d16a8 for a low km jdm ZC, having all the aussie parts in the car like the speedo that goes to 240 etc, will the engine swap straight over or will i need a new cluster?? and will i need any other parts, or will it be a simple straight swap.

YOu're talking bout the same engine right, both DOHC non-vtec just one j-spec? If that is the case the swap should be simple. Your current cluster is fine, shouldn't need to change anything.

u can keep the cluster and use it
unless the JDM ZC cluster has lower k's haha
yeah mine has like 260,000ks and the new onw is only about 60,000ks but no matter, thanks for ya help!!!

make sure u have reciept of the cluster and when u swap it tell the rta!
oh wait ur in WA....
not sure how it works for u guys

Where are you located ?
I changed my cluster and never told them and when i showed them my pink slip with a massive differance in kilometers they didnt say any thing.

is your new engine from a 88 crx or a Si civic ?

engine has to be same year or newer than your current car :)
