Hey guys, whenever my mate tries to unlock his car, all doors unlock except the rear driver's side door. We pulled the door pannel off and tried to fix it but we don't know where the lock is connected to the central locking mechanism. If anyone knows how we can fix this please help >_< lol. Thanks guys.

it should just be a lose metal link that came off... happened to me a whlie back... wasnt srewed on properly..

just take the right side off also and turn the central off and on and see where they both connect?

hope that helps.. might be another problem but dunno.

how does the door panel come off fellas ? i had same problem where the driver door central locking became loose assuming something came off from behind i.e link of somesort.
im not too sure of how to take the door panel off as i have yet the need to do so. is it just undo screws at handle and hand rest ? then pull or slide up ?

Off memory there is about three screws you need to undo before you can pull it off.
Make sure the window is down its alot easier
1st: Screw is in the door arm rest - where you can put coins etc. the top one not the one down the very bottom. once undone you should be able to take this out
2nd: Screw is behind the door opening handle inside the car. you will need to take door handle off its easy just look at the back there is a L clip, push this so it is off the metal wire extension then it should just slide out,
3rd: Screw Should be right up near the mirrors, there should be a black thing up there, the head is covered over unless the tops snapped off like mine, just get a small screwdriver into it to pull it open then you will see the top of the screw, this is a plastic screw so be gentle.
Once all these are done you should try to pull it from the side closest to the open door, You will need to use a little bit of force as there is about 10 clips all around door skin panel holding it to the door,
Once the door skin panel feels free you need to lift it up so it doesnt catch on the window pane, be very careful as to not scratch mirror cover, black corner thing,
Good luck, just remember Patience!
Enjoy

We'll have a look at it tomorrow cuz it's storming pretty bad right now. Thanks for the tip.
