hey guys, i got a question about brake dusts.. I have not washed my car for once ever since i got my car, and i noticed that there is uneven amount of brake dust on the 2 sides of front wheel... the left front wheel looks like a black wheel now but the right front wheel still looks very clean.. is it normal?? the car seems totally fine when i drive it

One way to check is touch the rims and calipers to see if it has the same amount of heat.. (BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF).. If one is extremely HOT and the other is not, then you know there is something wrong...
Mine has equal amount of dust.. not a lot tho.. probably because I wash it at least one every fortnight...

I get a reddish/rusty/blackish colour brake dust which i deliberately leave on as i think it looks aggresive ie "you are a brake hard" kind of driver.

So how are we suppose to tell which one is hotter?? ouch that burns and ouch that burns too??
I'm guessing that one side has more brake dust than the other because the Jazz has EBD which can control the brake force on each wheel individually so i guess thats why there is more on one side
i thought EBD only varies brake pressure between the front and rear axles, and not all 4 wheels individually? i might be wrong... :)
by the way, is the jazz ABS work on each individual wheel (4-way) or front-rear (2 way) only?

If the brakes are applying pressure unevenly you would feel the car pull to one side under harder braking.

Also incorrect wheel alignment can have this affect and is quite dangerous so you might wanna get it checked out asap.

Perhaps just keep an eye on the condition of the brake rotors and pads and if unsure get it looked at, better to be safe than sorry.
