I just purchased this off ebay. I know it could be crap but hey I am willing to take a risk.

Once I receive it I'll let you guys know if it is worthwhile.

He seems to receive quite good feedback on other workshop manuals sold (eg Civic) - so that is a good start anyway.

He claims it is a "PROFESSIONALLY LABELLED CD" - whatever that means. Maybe he works for Honda - he seems to have a few honda manuals.

I am being flooded with PMs from members asking me to sell copies of this CD.

I am sorry I can't sell copies of this as that is piracy. If you want to buy this I have posted up a link to the seller above. As far as I am aware I will be receiving a legitimate CD in the post (lets wait and see). I can't deal in pirate copies.

Great find!

I just ordered one too. For the cost of an import magazine it's worth the risk!

Good stuff Matell -fingers crossed aye?

I will be chuffed if this is detailed with diagrams etc :D I saw the program used at Honda North in Perth - the interface looked exactly like that picture above (enter the part number and it showed a diagram, etc)- so I am excited.

If this covers the Euro R I will be over the moon as I would love the proper diagrams to fit the Euro R kit - unlikely but you never know.

Someone will correct me if I am wrong - but there is no Thai Accord in the UK - well that is the last time I checked the Honda UK website.

They only have the "Accord" which is the Euro here. Confused? I wish Honda didn't have 2 accords in Australia.

Yup, the UK Accord is the same as the Euro. It even has the same 140kW engine that we have. The only difference I noticed is the instrument cluster being red instead of our nice red, yellow and white.

OMG - this program is awesome! Pics later - everything I hoped it would be! Including full diagram for installing Euro R bumper! Only down side is no part numbers for Euro R goodies :-(

However, diagnostics, troubleshooting, wiring diagrams - every single part you might want to replace on the Euro - there is a diagram and instructions for!!!!! It really is the proper workshop manual. So much of this is way over my head - ie how the VSA works and what all the individual wires do, etc. :D

Wooot!

Small technical question: in what format is the manual? Is it PDF, does it work in a web browser or is it a stand-alone application?

All web based - around 440meg of materials.

Cheers -- I'm a Mac aficionado (I have a bad allergy to all things Microsoft) so I often need to check that things I might be interested in aren't stand-alone Windows applications!

Is it an original or professional copy?

Is it an original or professional copy?

I honestly couldn't tell you unless I saw the CD they use in the workshops. The one I have is a colour printed CD label that looks genuine.

The seller seems to have these for different models (eg Civic) so I suspect he has a source inside Honda (they have a factory in London).

Can't believe how detailed this is - even the screws on the intake box - there are torque figures for those basic screws. Makes me appreciate the detail that went into building this fine car.

Must have program  Will post up some screen shots when I am home (around 10.30pm AEST).

As promised - some screen shots. This only scratches the surface as to what is on the CD. I am so impressed - everything is there you could imgagine right down to the nitty gritty including panel repairs and replacement, wiring diagrams for every possible component (right down to the cigarette lighter). Want to replace something in the car? It is there with instructions - and not just on major parts like the clutch - it includes everything including heated seats, dash, steering rack, pistons, blah blah blah. Crickee - even complete engine removal is covered in step by step fashion with step by step diagrams.

Looks good Yoram...

I think this is a worthy investment for all Euro owners out there....

Just a question, do all Euro/TSX share the same part numbers across the platform or it might be different for each individual countries?

NIck the CD only covers these models below--- so not the TSX. Where the manual differs on engine it says so. It also has different sections based on wagon, 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual, etc, etc.

There are some items that differ for "KE" and "KG" models. I haven't checked which model we have. It explains how to identify the KE and KG models - just can't find that section now!

that new link, is it the same workshop manual as the one that yfin got??

i want the one he got... :D

and do you reckon there's much diff with the 2006 one?? since i've got an 06...

yfin
15-04-2006, 10:40 AM
It is probably the same one. If you are worried - wait for Peekay to receive his and for him to confirm.

re the 06 model - of course any changes with the 06 model are not included. So if you want to troubleshoot the new trip computers that will not be included etc.

If you want instructions, however, how to work on something in the engine bay - that will be the same.

BTW, some parts in that manual are different to the actual components on your AUDM Euro. Example are the front brakes. In the CD, the caliper removal process is for Bosch calipers, which we don't get on our car (it's easier on ours. Boschs are used on Astras and they are a pain. 7mm allen key anyone? LOL)

jeez thats expensive for a piece of plastic! :p

For that much you would expect a hard copy with leather covers and golden ink lol...

It's not the CD, it's the content. The paper manual is slightly different and in my opinion is more informative than the CD. I've seen a few pages of the TSX one over at the tsx forums, and yeah, I'd prefer than book over the CD. But any repair info is good info.
