Hi All,

I just finally got my new baby. After changing my mind on car around 50 times a day, I finally settled on the integra, and so far i'm glad. (picture below)

I have afew basic questions:

1. The plastic grey strips down the side, can they be removed easily, and if so what are the chances of the paint being farked when I do so? has anyone done this??

2. I want to remove gsi the sticker off the rear (don't fear it WONT be replaced with a vtir one for show :p ) How can I do so without wrecking the paint??

3. In future I may be interested in shortening my shifter, obviously I know people who can do me the cut and re-thread trick, what costs are involved to do the short shifter properly??

4. The sunroof when opening seems to 'skip'... get a bit noisy and bounce I guess is a way of explaining it.. is it running too dry or something similar?

OK.. thats all for now... any advice is appreciated.. THANKS

i have done this on my LS integra before, it is quite easy
my Ls had holes there but nothing body filler and touch up paint cant fix

go to woolies or coles and buy big kevs goo remover , this removes stickers spray on let it set for a few minutes and peel off , it might not be that easy but if you keep spraying and give the 5 minutes to set all the time itll come off no stress

3. In future I may be interested in shortening my shifter, obviously I know people who can do me the cut and re-thread trick, what costs are involved to do the short shifter properly??
its fairly easy , cut it with a anglke grinder weld on abit more metal where the standard shifter used to sit and force on
4. The sunroof when opening seems to 'skip'... get a bit noisy and bounce I guess is a way of explaining it.. is it running too dry or something similar?
mine does it but probably not as dramatic , check the sunroof rubber and see if they have cracked , if not get some wd40 or grease and paste or spray on the sunroof lifter

anyother questions you can PM me

use a hairdryer to make the gsi sticker a bit more flexible.

I removed mine without any fancy pansy stuff, I just used warm water and soak an old thin shirt and dampened the sticker and then slowly puff the edges up with my pinky, and then, applied more hot water to softened the sticker up and then peeled right off. But HEY its up to you. Just saying it worked for me. :)

hmm You could just buy one, they're not expensive, but if money's an issue do what integrity said.

do some research, can be had anywhere for 30 bucks to 300
depends what brand you want. I suggest going for a decent one around $100 at least. a bad one could mess up the gearbox. My sunroof does the same, just jam some grease in there, try not to use wd40.
