internal wastegate to a external wastegate

hey guys..

wondering atm turbo is running internal..
would it be possible to put in a tial 38mm external?

if so. wat work would i need to do and wat do i need..

Take the internal gate off the turbo, weld up the flange on the hot side, I managed to weld mine to a bit of stainless steel that was on the hot side. Then your going to need a manifold with an external wastegate flange

you can buy block off flanges which bolt straight upto the exhaust housing of the turbo, effectively closing the flapper.
You'll need to re-weld your existing downpipe to the new flange.

and as LVNIT said, you'll need a manifold with external gate flange.
