Integra GSI Alarm / Central Locking

Hi All,

I just recently purchased my first integra... it's a GSI, when I was first unlocking and locking it it'd make a noise and the alarm went off several times when opening the boot etc.

The alarm seems to not be working at all anymore and I have no idea why, maybe I have somehow disabled it? My remote for the central locking only has two buttons ( ll ) & ( l ).

Does anyone know how this thing works and how I get the alarm to work again??

I guessing u have a mongoose alarm system? I've got a basic mongoose immobiliser on my gsi, I don't know how much help I can be but maybe hold the button down for a couple of seconds? Sorry I can give you anymore help. :o

It's the stock alarm that came on the car I think.. I don't know anything about it, but it seems like the stock setup? Hrrmmm i'll hav to keep playing.

what brand of alarm have you got? my alarm system only has I and II on it as well. If i leave my car for a bit (when its unlocked), the alarm activates, and then I open the car door or boot, the alarm sirens. not so sure if this is what you exactly mean.

any decent auto electrician should be able to re-pin the alarm for you (if it's aftermarket), shouldn't cost more than $50

my old alarm dropped out twice on its own so it's possible

Needs a reflash. It was the same for my old Honda, cost 40 dollars to reflash and fix the alarm memory.

all u need to do is go down to the local alarm installer and tell them to reset the code for u. all it takes is about 2 mins.
i have a friend who is a installer and has seen him do it many times
