Yeah a good idea if it is black. Helps protect the condensor. I don't like the look of the silver mesh.

I did this a while back,
Looked OK. Now I only have the mesh in the 2 fog light areas, and only really as a funtional thing because I have my cold air intake behind the grill there. Pics in gallery.
Agree black would look better.
