Annoying Sound

Hi,

I have just completed a B16B conversion into my EG6, but there is a slight bump or knocking sound at the front left of the car whilst driving...
It does goes away when accelarating and also while braking though...

its not the cv already checked...

do you guys know what this is, or has any one experianced this before?

the only things i can think that it might be, is something loose, or maybe its the wheel bearing, but that shouldnt go away under braking?

anyway any help would be much appreciated.

so this noise only occurs when you are rolling along neither accel. or braking ?
Maybe a mount is slightly loose giving you this feeling/noise or one of the front wheels is unbalanced~ do you feel vibration in the steering wheel at all ?

the wheels are balanced, its there under light accel and light braking and rolling but not under heavy braking or accel, can hardly feel it, more a sound..

i'd say check the mount
chances are its come just a lil loose and will continue to loosen if u don't tighten it

but yeh just give the mounts a quick once over

also check your front sway bar bushes if they are original items chances are theie fried and the through bolt is knocking on the bar
mine wore out alot quicker after i did my swap due to heavier engine etc and more cornering force

b16a and b16b should weigh roughly ther same yeh?

it was a loose rear engine mount (due to a cracked or broken) nut. thanks guys :)
