spoon lower tie

hey i have a spoon front lower tie in my car and the mounting brackets have bent!

im not impressed with the quality at all so im searching for a new unit
im using b18 headers on the b16 so the primaries are longer so would a cusco fit no probs
my spoon one used to vibrate a little on the headers

does the spoon one bend down like: \______/ ?
or is it just straight?
the cusco one dips down a bit yet still only has about 1cm clearance from the header on my ZC.

yeah i had to take mine off cos it was only 1cm and it taps when i take off.
i think i'll grind mine abit down. It was only an el cheapo.

btw.. i had mine on for over a month tapping ant it never bend. even the cheap ones are not too bad you must b unlucky

no the spoon one is a 3 peice design kinda like this {________}

just curiuos cause the vibration was awfull to drive with,, so the cusco unit prob wouldnt clear the b18 headers?

probly not. the cross bar probly only sits just over an inch lower than the mounting points

how low is your car? maybe you dented it over somthing? i've never had a problem!

my car is low but not really low ive never hit it i avoid bumps etc

I guess you could heat it up with a blow torch and then bang it back into place
